This summer is going great so far. Sure I miss my friends, but it's such an awesome summer. It seems as if it's passing by so quickly right in front of my eyes.

For the most part, I've been on my ass doing nothing;however, I still go to weightlifting and I'm playing beach volleyball.

Beach volleyball is great. I love being outdoors and diving in the sand is fun :d Sure it costs me some bad tan lines, but they're worth it. I don't have any coaches and we get to play right near the beach.... well sometimes. Just this past weekend I played with my sis's old coach. It's so much fun to play with her. We almost won the whole tournament. Oh well, second place is just as good as first. Pretty soon I leave for beach volleyball camp so that will be fun.

When I went to Santa Cruz I saw one of my best friends :D I swear it felt like a million years since we last saw each other. I had so much fun with her. I definitely need to give her a call and ask her if she wants to go hang out some time.

The most craziest thing happened to me yesterday. I was walking down the escalator at the movie theaters and my pant leg and my shoe got stuck at the bottom. Talk about embarrassing, but I just laughed it off in the end. Boy I'll never forget that.

Summer is going by so quickly that I'm feeling really lazy. I need to start that writing assignment :d At least I finished the book. Oh well. I guess I'll get to it some time soonish.

Well my little bro got Lego Batman and watching him can be pretty entertaining.... and frustrating XDDD. Anyways, I started to watch him and my sister play and I've seen many of the stupid idiotic things that they did that they probably could have avoided. Then I played and did some pretty stupid things too.

So here's the list. I know it's not that long, but if I watch my brother more I'll come up with more stuff. Enjoy <3

1. Don't use your Robin as bait. You'll probably end up just like him in the end. Specially when you're up against Mr. Freeze. Trust me, being a block of ice is not fun.

2. If you know you can glide, don't test your limits. You'll only end up killing yourself and losing a lot of money at the same time.

3. When you capture an enemy car, don't unhook the cable. They'll end up shooting at you.

4. Green lakes of goop are dangerous. Especially when they look like they're glowing.

5. Standing in front of a man-eating plant is probably one of the most stupidest things you can do.

Well...... I'd complete the list, but I gotta go to sleep. I'll complete it tomorrow.

 Well here's another little tidbit on volleyball that I need to remember:
 - Stay still when you pass. (well cept for tips and balls that are lollipoped over the net)
- Don't let the other team serve more than five in a row.
- Cheering for you teammates is important
- Talking is one of the keys to success in volleyball.
- Face your target when passing.
- do not stand up when passing

Alrighty now. That's all I really remember. Anyways, yay! Obama is president. It feels great to have a new president.

Some of my classmates in English are complaining cause they're Republicans. Well one of them is my friend. She's nice and doesn't complain aloud, but the other guy. Well I wanna shove my stinky knee pad down his throat. Plus he was a problem with gays. What's up with that? I don't want to start any political debates so I'll just be quiet.

Well my coach said everyone on the team might as well keep a journal on the stuff I learn in volleyball cause we'll probably forget. So I figured why not write it on lj?

Anyways, we learned how to do run-throughs. You have to stay on your feet. It's best not to dive for the ball, that's only for emergencies. Don't stop running after you contact with the ball. Make sure your platform ends up above your head when you contact.

When I transition, don't go too far back. Only go back about three or four feet. Watch what the hitter is going to hit. Don't transition until the setter sets high.

Try and fake angle. Put your whole body into it. Turn your hips. Remember grunting helps you pike your body when you hit. Don't forget to snap your wrist!!!!!!

Well that's the end of that. Man high school is now slowing down. Is this a good thing? Well yeah I don't want to go to college just yet, but I just can't wait to breathe in that summer air and let the sunshine soak onto my skin.

Our school men's basketball team finally won an important trophy. It's been a long time. Of course the women won their trophy.

It seems like everyone who bugged me in the beginning of the year stopped. I'm glad. I don't know if I can stand them any longer. Maybe I'll hide who I really am. I don't want to lose friends because of who I am.... then again, aren't friends supposed to accept you for who you are? It just scares me when I just think about it.

Man it's already been a month of high school. Lots of good things and bad things are happening. I hope the bad things just stop coming. For some reason I've been having a lot of bad luck.

I can't believe those stupid jerks in my English class said I draw "porn" *sighs* I really gotta work on clothes and anatomy. Maybe I'll just not bring my drawings to school at all. That way I don't have to deal with those idiots and I don't get lots of requests...... Well not that I don't like drawing for other people. I guess I don't want too much expectation.

Today I played in a volleyball tournament. We won all of our games except for the last one which was against our rival. They took us to three and won. Oh well. Silver is just as good as gold. We'll beat them next time anyways.

Yeah! I made the volleyball team!

This means I'm going to be more busy though.

The tryout was long and hard. I was tired after every single day of the tryout and I was hungry too. There were so many girls that tried out. I never thought I could make it.

Wow. I already got volleyball tryouts. There's a huge group of girls that are going to try out. I wonder if I'll make it. Sure, one of the coaches at camp said there's a huge chance I'd get a spot on the team but I don't know.

I've done a lot of preparation. Going to volleyball camp, clinics, etc., but there's still doubt in my mind.

 I can't believe it's already the start of a new school year. This year I'm starting high school. There's so much to explore and so much to do. I don't even know where to start.

This is very strange. At first, I couldn't wait until summer ended. I just wanted to go off to high school right away. Now I want to go back to summer. I miss those days of sleeping late, having almost nothing to do all day, and all those other fun things.

Most of my friends are going to different schools. That makes me somewhat sad. I have friends at the high school I'm going to, but I wonder if I'll ever see my other friends again.

At first I though getting a locker would be great. Now I realize how tedious it can be. It took me so many tries to get my locker open. I hope this does not cause me to be late for my classes. After all, we only have seven minutes to get to class.

Maybe high school isn't as scary as it seems. I'll try and dive in to new things. There's an excited four years waiting for me. So I'll take advantage of those four years.
